Analyzing Zones Bridges

This task shows you how to analyze zones bridges, to help you solve problems that may occur when you are creating the solid.
Open the ZBAnalyzer01.CATPartdocument.

  1. Click Zone bridge analyzer .
    The Zone analyzer dialog box is displayed.

  2. Select the zones group to analyze.
    The dialog box is populated with information about the zones found:

    Those zones are highlighted in the 3D viewer.
    They should all be highlighted in yellow, with one single light blue continuous external contour.
    ITP are shown with their value.

    You can highlight each zone separately by selecting its line in the dialog box.

    In the example below, you can see that the two transition zones overlap:

  3. Select the Micro-Edges Detection check box and enter a Limit Length to detect such edges. Information about the detection is displayed in the dialog box:
